This drawing depicts an Elefant tank destroyer Ferdinand 312. 3 Kompanie/schwere Panzerjager-Abteilung 653 in the Kursk offensive. The Elefant is sitting comfortably in the Russian blossoming field. While zero in on it next victim for the kill. It right flank is well guarded by a Tiger.

This Ferdinand commanded by Of w. Emil Issler(?) was burned out by engines fire on December 17 1943. It was recovered and repaired. Afterward ...?

I don't know if the Elefant really did operated with the Tiger in the battle of the Kursk. I'm not going for historical accuracy here, but for visual interest. I hope you will enjoy this drawing.
